  Does anyone do or know how to get involved in a pick 5 small pool (like 2-3 people in total).

   

  I live in NJ and I often buy $15 or $20 everytime the jackpot goes over like $500k or $600k, and it occurred to me that splitting a jackpot between $600k-1mil three ways is pretty darn good especially with better odds of like 3 people playing $15 or $20 each.

   

  Anyone know if there are any small pools around in things like that with the pick 5? 

  I would guess the only rule would be the organizer scans the tickets and emails them to the 3 people playing several hours before the drawing.

   

  Was just thinking about this in general. Odds of pick 5 in NJ are 1 in 968,000. If 3 people played $20 each, each play would be 1 in 16,133 which isn't too bad!

  i tried to form a cash 5 pool. its not easy. many people think only if they had the numbers they would win. some people have other factors. you have to have the numbers and be favored and fortunate enough to win small and particularly large amounts.
