  TimeLine: October 13th, 1307, France

  King Philip 1V, the Faire & in agreement with *Pope Clement, ordered the attack & arrest of 600 French Catholic  Knights Templar on fabricated, unfounded charges of political heresy's for monetary gain

  *Pope Clement was then situated in France under virtual control by King Philip who hoped to seize the famous Knight's treasure; erase the enormous debt owed  to Knight's banks and also confiscate their substantial land holdings and destroy their considerable power base which was taken as a potential threat to the the throne. Alas the treasure, which escaped on awaiting  Knight's 18 ships has never been found to this day but many knights were tortured for their secrets and Grand Master Molay was burned at the stake.
