So in my local state of Maryland if you look around you can find some numbers on odds tickets left ect on the website.
So im thinking if there is a way to kinda recheck odds after tickets have been sold for awhile.
if you have a $10 ticket and the odds of winning is 1 in 3.86 or so, couldent you add up all the amount of the total prizes top prizes to bottom prizes multiply that number by 3.86 and get close to the amount of total number of tickets floating around from the start?
then you can see how many prizes have been sold and claimed but not how many losing tickets have been sold
but im curious if there is a semi close way to estamate revised odds with the information that has been given on the website?
I guess you could just take total winning tickets and total winning tickets sold and divide those 2 numbers?
just kinda rambling and seeing if any one has come up with any ideas for this
by the way typing on phone sorry if any typos spelling issues
