I work one of My Systems Every Day. I have been doing this since 2115. I used to set up Excel Sheets for about every idea posted on the Forum and back test them to see if they worked. Most LP Systems worked for a while but not over the Long Haul.
I began with Super Lotto Plus (CA). I built a Monster that Tracked about 100 Columns of Data for Every Draw. It included a Sheet that calculated the current values for each Number from the Historical Data Columns. Each Column became a Code That could be used to Extract Numbers from the Pool. The Short Version of this was to Create a Reduced Pool of Numbers by Predicting a Few Code Combinations. More Complicated Versions Tried to use Formulas to Generate Code Combinations. The Monster Eventually Consumed all of My Memory and took Several Minutes to Recalculate. Macros Were so Slow, that I walked away for the hours that it took to finish a Back Test. Inventories were so Large that it was Impossible to Play all of the Combinations and the Wins were NEVER Enough. I spent about 9 Months and over 1000 hours on Super Lotto Plus.
Frustrated by the ridiculous prize for getting 4 of 5 in Super Lotto Plus, I turned to Fantasy 5. I attacked it with Revisions to the Monster and Found No Better Result, although the Inventories were smaller, the Wins were STILL not Enough. This Period was about 6 Months and around 500 Hours.
I Next turned to Pick 3 and Pick 4. I have over 100 different Workbooks that do Every Thing I found at LP plus many of My Own Ideas. This Period Lasted about 2 years during which time I left the Forum. I came Back in June 2017. I brought with me a Generic Pick 3 File that could be readily adapted to any System that appeared around that Time. I applied this Workbook to Several Ideas posted by LottoLaughs, Amber, LakerBen, and LadyC to misname a Few. I spent a few Months working with Soledad on his System. I Worked with Guesswork on one of my systems. It was great to have someone willing to dig in, advise and evaluate the Process and actually use the process for a while. I was Posting some Predictions for a While and then came that Grid posted by KentuckyLotto. I abandoned my current system and set about looking for patterns in the Grid as well as modified Grids. I was working in the Background and communicating with MrB while he prepared his Awesome Program.
The "Grid" brought me back to Fantasy 5. The attack this time was to breakdown the 2 Digits of a Number into it's Left and Right Digits, Look for Patterns in the Grid to Extract the Right Digit, Recombine it with the Left Digit and Wheel the Results.
Currently I am working on Fantasy 5 "Lottery DNA". When I Posted the Idea the File was working with a few columns, but because of my redundant approach, it ate the brain and almost stopped. I just recently revamped the base and am about ready to begin testing again.
I did not intend to tell my Lotto Life Story. I could have saved you all some time by just saying that I Work on one of my systems Every Day. Sometimes it is equivalent to a full time Job. I know I am going to Win someday. Today, If I hit the Fantasy 5 at say $75,000, I would be making about $10 an Hour.
