If you use Internet Explorer as your web browser for the Internet, please be sure you are using the latest version, which is Internet Explorer 11.
The reason I'm mentioning this is that Lottery Post will be phasing out support for all other versions of Internet Explorer (IE) soon.
So if you use IE 6, 7, 8, 9, or 10, there will be features of Lottery Post that you can no longer use — or which will not appear properly. (Lottery Post already phased out IE 6 and 7 support a couple of years ago.)
For example, the next time Lottery Post has an update (which may be in the next week), the text editor you are accustomed to using will no longer be available. You will only be able to use the "Simple Codes" text editor. You can post on the forums just fine, but the text editor is not quite as good.
I have been holding off on upgrading the text editor for the sole reason than IE 10 and lower doesn't support it, but at this point the lack of an editor update just hurts the 99% of members who don't use IE 10 and lower.
For information, Microsoft has not provided support for IE 10 and lower for over two years. They stopped providing support on January 12, 2016. So this should not be surprising.
If you like using Internet Explorer and want to continue using it, that's just fine. Microsoft's download page for IE 11 can be found here: https://support.microsoft.com/help/17621/internet-explorer-downloads
The other option, of course, is to switch to a different web browser. If you'd like to give that a try (which is my recommendation), you have a few good choices. All of these web browsers can import all of your bookmarks (favorites) from Internet Explorer, and all are free.
- If you have Windows 10 installed as your operating system, Microsoft's built-in web browser is called Edge, and it has become very good. (No link required because there is no installation needed for Windows 10 users.) Just about all modern features are supported in Edge, and it is a very fast web browser.
- Google Chrome is very popular, and in fact is used by the majority of Internet users.
- Firefox has been around the longest, and it is excellent.
It is perfectly fine to install some or all of these web browsers at the same time on your computer. Personally, every one of my computers has every major web browser installed on it. If choosing between the three browsers above, you will find that the main differences are in how the menus, toolbars, and options are configured.
Lottery Post's website stats show that there are just a few people left visiting the site with IE 10 or lower, but there are some people. Please understand that Lottery Post has supported these very old web browsers for a lot longer than most other websites. We just can't do it forever, because continuing to support them hurts everyone else and makes the website a lot harder for us to add new features to. Hopefully you can get upgraded to IE 11 or else try a new web browser completely.
