  I’m always suspicious when my husband calls me from work in the middle of the day.  It is always something that is going to complicate  my life.  Usually he has to travel but this time it was...how would you like to move and move quickly? 

  So between pot blocking JJ in the last Mega Millions build up in late July and pot blocking JJ for the last Powerball run in in August, we moved.  We left our home of 16 years.  My house is empty and listed with a real estate agent.  All of my things are in storage.  I am cooped up in a furnished apartment in a strange city.

  What’s a girl to do?

  YES!  Buy lottery tickets in her new state!  I’ve discovered a little place nearby.  My new state has a traditional style lotto game and a Cash 5 game.  I am seriously thinking of spending less on the big jackpot games and spending more on the games with better odds.  Power Ball was my first lottery love and I could never abandon the game entirely. I will always stand in JJ’s way when it comes to Mega Millions. But I think this move is an opportunity to shake things up a bit.

  What do you think?  Should I give up extra chances for Lear jet riches for a better chance to win something?

  The lottery games vary from state to state so it's hard to advise without knowing the state you're in.
  
  Strategy would be, if a nice 5/36 game or smaller, to win Pick-5 and use some of the prize to finance winning Pick-6 being able to play the way you'd want.  However, if the Pick-6 is 6/49 or smaller and you're looking at 5/39 or worse, then there are some advantages to sticking with the Pick-6.  For example, there is usually an additional prize tier, and wheeling is stronger covering more numbers for a better prize.  (12-6-4-6)=6 plays vs (12-5-4-5)=37 plays.  So consider the game sizes and odds, average prizes, how often they draw such as daily or twice a week and have at it. 
  
  Strange city?  Learn what you can about it, where it's safe and where turning a corner puts you in Michael Jackson's Thriller, then figure out how to get safely from where you are to the interesting places you might enjoy.

  keep a bit of blind faith and safe travels 

  and if the local paper has a online version, check the police blotter and stay way from the areas mentioned 

  

  and remember ceiling cat is watching
