There are a lot of discussions and a lot of attractions and distractions. Sift through that and share how much time do you spend on LP strategizing your next win.

My answer varies from around 10% to 100%. The daily value is directly related to the Number of New Ideas that I See in the Various Forums. When I see a "New" idea, the percent is high. I count time spent working on this "New" Idea as LP Strategy Time even though I am logged out.
Currently the Percentage has been very Low. "New" ideas seem to be in significant decline. Don't get me wrong, this is not a complaint. There have been a couple of significant "New" ideas that have Totally Changed my Workouts. Igor's Method was 1 of them (even though I have not bought the book). Applying the Round, Blocks and Structures has Greatly Reduced the number of Combinations that are "spit" out by the "New" Filter; but, making the right guess is still elusive as heck.
I also recently tried to work with Bobby623 to create an Excel File based on his "Non" mathematical Substitution Process. I thought that the process was beginning to come together; but Cranky Old Bob pulled the Plug and said he would never use or believe in an Excel Version of his process, after asking me (I thought) to create one. That one has been shelved most likely to never surface again.
I guess in fairness the Actual Percentage is 100%.
I will keep reading looking for the next "New" idea.

Yes, I did contact AllenB regarding my "Non-Mathematical Substitute Workout."
Yes, I terminated my Email participation when I realized he was building Excel software directly without the initial use of paper and pencil tracking charts.
Our venture was initiated without any real discussion of what we were wanting to accomplish, at least, that's my recollection. It's possible there was a misunderstanding, on both sides.
I believe I wanted to make some arrangements where I would develop a workout for California Fantasy 5, but I needed a Day and Draw time, and game history.
However, we got side tracked into Excel for CA Daily 4.
In any event, I don't believe that Excel is intended for lottery analysis purposes.
Therefore, I don't know why I would agree to participate in an activity where there would be no useful payback for my time and energy explaining various aspects of the workout.

LP is a place where anyone can offer an opinion on just about any lottery-related topic.
Members and visitors can participate to whatever degree they are comfortable with, provided they abide by the rules.
One important thing I have learned during my long LP tenure is that paper and pencil workouts have many advantages over Excel and other prediction software.
Logging individual data by hand is a lot of work, but, it is allowing me to 'know things' that I might not notice if I were involved in automatic tasking.
Many of the lottery experts that visit LP claim that manual management of lottery results is a prerequisite to the coding of automatic systems.
AllenB says he knows how to give his Excel software the ability to duplicate the many mental decisions I make in choosing the numbers I believe have the best chance of winning.
He says he doesn't need the familiarity that comes with paper and pencil methods.
I'm not challenging him. I applaud his abilities where lottery evaluation and analysis is concerned.
I just disagree.
Artificial intelligence is showing up at many levels, but, I don't believe it will ever be used to win a lottery jackpot.

I think my paper and pencil workout is worth the time and effort.
I'm winning more now than I ever did with the math-based workouts I used in the past.
I've voluntarily posted the workout details.
I believe anyone with the skills AllenB has can use the examples to build an automated workout without my assistance.

Yes, I'm old but I don't think I can be called 'cranky'
I'm just tired and need more sleep!!
Better yet - a cure for arthritis!!
As for the question asked by Original Bey.
I visit LP several times per day just to read the recent posts.
I get involved when I think I have something useful to say.
I spend 3 or 4 hours everyday updating my paper and pencil logs for 7 different lottery games
that I'm interested in.
I'm a retired widower living on a fixed income. I don't have the funds to actually buy lottery tickets everyday.
I look for clues and play when I believe I have best chance of winning.
Sometimes I win, but, like just about everyone else, my return on investment is not impressive.
But, like everyone believes, you never know what might happen next!!
