This is my poll question everyone! The current Mega Millions Jackpot is at $493 million dollars with $296 million dollars with the cash value option if one ticket matches the jackpot and chooses the lump sum one time payment! Do you think the jackpot will be won there or will the jackpot will grow and someone will win! Let me know what will be the jackpot is the Mega Millions jackpot is won and which state won the jackpot please! Good luck to the people who're voting on this one! Let's see who's right!

I would say it would reach $800 million to over $1 Billion dollars until one lucky ticket wins the jackpot to surpass the PB lucky ticket in 2017 everyone!

I hope that one $2 ticket is the only one that matches all 5 numbers plus the PB to win the largest PB jackpot in United States history of over $2 Billion Dollars! I am split on this jackpot about 50/50....maybe 51/49 that it will roll. As a fellow LP member reported on another post that roughly 45 million tickets were sold for the last draw, which is roughly 1/7th of the total odds of the MM (1/302.5 Million). It will be interesting to see where the total ticket sales come up to on this one. Do they double to 90 Million ? Go over 100 Million... Oh yes, I am well aware that it only takes one proper set to win...Look at the last big winner from NJ earlier this year that won the $521 Million jackpot. His win was on draw #24 and I am not sure what the ticket sales were for that but I am sure they were well over the 45 Million mark.

Should this roll ?? You can bet that the next Jackpot will be up around $565-580 Million and the sales will skyrocket for that. Just MHO and 2 cents worth.

Well Mega Millions is now in Sudden Death. On Monday July 23rd Mega Millions jumped the jackpot up to $512 million with $303.4 million dollars if one ticket matches the jackpot and chooses the lump sum one time payment!

What does "MM is now in Sudden Death" mean?

Just wondering because MM or PB never had a must win jackpot; it's either won or the jackpot rolls.

Sudden Death means someone has to win a jackpot of over $500 million dollars or more Stack47! The example occurs at Ernie's Liquors at San Jose in California. Someone won a jackpot over there worth at least $522 million dollars Stack47!

It was a California Super Lotto Plus pick. The jackpot was revised upward to $543 million dollars or $320.5 million if that ticket chooses the cash value one time option Stack47!
