We’re Going to sing it again. This time with 4 Part Harmony and _____FEELINGS. (My recollection of Lyrics from Alice’s Restaurant, by Arlo Guthrie).
Now let’s change the Lyrics a bit to “We’re going to Run the Filters again. This Time with 6 Part Harmony and FEELINGS”. That’s Where I am Right Now. I have a Pretty Solid Filter System that always gets the Right Combinations from My Filter Settings. Unfortunately, at least 1 of these Setting has been Wrong in The Tests and I am yet to Get a Hit in the Majors (Prediction Board).
So now I do not have to think about how these Combinations are assembled, I only have to look at a Few Settings (6) in all. The Break between the Past and the Future is Where these Values are Imagined. There is no formula (that I have Found, and believe me, I have looked) that Can Set all of the Values Correctly. The Numbers seem to Restrain my Brain. They also are so boring to look at that not many people consider them worth worrying about. And there is that Past not connected to the Future Thing that we don’t want to Believe, making it a Waste of Time, Right?
To Get all of the Numbers Out of Site, I Look at a List of Questions. There IS ONE Basic Questions to answer for Each Filter. Will the Last Value Drawn Repeat? Making that Decision is only the FIRST Step. You still have to Select a Value when you answer NO. Filter Values have “Outcomes” to Consider other than the Matching Digits or Combinations. Those Outcomes are a List of Considerations for Each Value as Follows:
- Ranked First (A Value derived by Skip/Frequency multiplied by Hits)
- Number Starts.
- Number of times the Value been on a Run.
- The Current Running Value, how many times The Run has continued from that Value, What is Values The Longest Run
- Value with the Longest Skip.
I have Run the game Backwards with the Microscope focused on these 6 Filters. I have Stood in the Void, Looking at all of the Numbers Options. For a Pick 4 Game Even though the number of Options for Each Filter is less than or equal to 5, there are 2 more chances to be Wrong. Random just does not Care What I Think is Most Important.
I “Lock Myself in the Lab” most of the Time. Working on the Values and Organizing them in Displays that find the Considerations.
Every Time I, select a Value if comes down to FEELINGS. Let me give you an example. I tend to think that if the Last Value is on a Run, the Number of times that it Continues is Important. The Larger the Advance Value, the more likely it is to keep running. Random Does Not Care about my Feeling and Laughs at my Tendencies.
I have wanted to be able to Stand in the Void and Get the Right Feeling since I started this Hobby. Having just arrived in the Void with a Short List of Things to Consider, I rely on My Feelings which are too heavily influenced by the Numbers Fogging of my Glasses.
So Why This Topic in the Mystical Forum. This is the forum where Feelings are expressed. This is the forum where members reveal their innermost thoughts. This is where Dreams are Made. So I am wondering if anyone would be willing to look at a List of Considerations and Sing their Song with FEELINGS.
Details about the Filters can be found in my Blog; but, they are not necessarily good influence on the FEELING. I have developed a Questionnaire that Lets you Select the Consideration that You feel will be Important for Each of the 6 Filters. You can look at some history if you like; but, again that may not be a good influence. I have tried to Free my Mind to Find the Right Feeling; but, more than half of it is locked in the Lab. I am convinced more than ever that IT is all about the FEELINGS. Perhaps a Mind that is FREE could look at the Questions and get a Better FEEL for the RIGHT FEELING.
I really hope that this Topic does not get Moved. I would argue that I am asking You about your Feelings or any Cosmic Influence that you can Express and not about a specific Game. I am curious about the Viability of the Idea. I have a Working File for Pick 4 and will be coming out with Pick 3 soon.
I have asked for folks interested in this Idea in my Blog and in a now buried post in the Pick 4 Forum. I am hoping that I have refined the Request enough that Someone with a FREE MIND here will find it interesting.
