There are probably some lists out there with Lottery Terms and Definitions. A Lottery Language or Dictionary from which we can communicate in standard terms. It might be Fun to List some of the More Common Lingo in use. Regional Dialects (LP is a Global Platform), Colloquial Phrases and Abbreviations make for some pretty Funny Stuff.

A Couple of Ideas:

PBJ Power Ball Junkie

ADD Addicted to Digital Data syndrome

LA Lottery Aficionado

LAME Lottery Aficionado Most Excellent

REAL Random Eliminates All Logic

REAM Random Eliminates All Mathematics (That was for you Bob)

ELF Excellent Lottery Filter

He’s a PBJ with ADD. He thinks he is an LA and is in Fact LAME. He does not believe REAL or REAM. He spends his day looking for an ELF.

IN the REALM of Rand-Dumb possibilites ELFS could exsist dependent on how much LSD one uses. NO i'm not an avid user of, although i have tried but did not quite like the end results of, Last Digit Sums.

I like Random Eliminates All Mathematics, since it's absolutely true, although a lot of players can't accept it.

I disagree about eliminating all logic. Logic can't increase your chances of winning (other than buying more chances, of course), but it does point to a couple of sensible strategies. One is playing when the jackpots are bigger, since that gives you the same chance of winning more money. Logic also tells us that choosing numbers that others are less likely to play is a good strategy for being a sole winner if the numbers that are drawn match the numbers that you played.

I think TODD would have to be the one to collect all of these LP acronyms and create a new quick link in the Quick Link column on the left hand side of the page, called "Lottery Lingo", so that everyone could refer to the meaning of these terms, if LP members start using lottery code words in text. Otherwise, people would be clueless as to what is being communicated, and this thread won't always be accessible and easy to refer back to. You have to remember the name of the thread to search for it. Months from now, people might actually forget it's called "Lottery Speak", and newbies and people who don't frequent LP regularly wouldn't know in the first place, without asking.

1. This was intended to be a Bit Of Fun, Not Establish a New Mandatory Language.

2. I don't think TODD has the time, But you never know.

3. This Thread will no doubt Drift Away without really accomplishing a Thing.

4. I doubt that many will pick up and begin to use any of this; but perhaps if they do YOU COULD REQUIRE them to explain themselves in their Text in ().
