Hi all
It's been a few days since the program was first uploaded and I think it's been downloaded a few
hundred times so it's time to discuss a few things that you may find useful. For this tutorial we use
pick-3 but the same methods can be applied to pick-4.
Below are the rogue strings for last 100 games in MO p-3 combined.

Black = all 4 digits used at least once, 0123
Pink = 3 same digits any order, 111-23
red = 2ea same-digit pairs + 1, any order, 22-33-1
Blue = pair + triad any order 33-111
What I like you to consider first is that there are 5-rogue positions and only four choices
to fill them, 0123.
This means that one or more of the 4 rogue digits has to show more than once.
The rogue string 32012 has all four digits 0123 and you can see that it has a same digit pair.
These make up around 23% of the drawings, note, my counts may not be exact.
Below is a cover list for same digit pairs which can also be used for the same digit triads, pink
draws. Since all games will have at least 2 same digits this makes for a good hand workout
and starting point. Each of the groups has a finite number of ways it can be arranged which
limits the number of lines it takes to cover.
00xxx, 0x0xx, 0xx0x, 0xxx0, x00xx, x0x0x, x0xx0, xx00x, xx0x0, xxx00
You can see this list contains 10 possible ways that 2 same digits can be arranged to cover
a pick-3, five-position rogue string.
The bulk of all drawings will fall under one of the black, red or pink formats. All of them have
similar hit rates so is it better to stick with the one that shows most often or switch game to
game. I myself prefer to use the red option for most games, here it hit 37% of the time. This
means that I need two pairs of digits + one of the remaining 2. I normally do hand workouts
on paper then input the strings one at a time. I use the provided analysis tools to try and narrow
down the choices for my 2-pairs of digits.
Anyway, this is something to think about as your learning the program and I will post more later.
