Online lottery ticket purchases are now available for Minnesota residents!

Minnesota does not offer the sales directly, but instead has certified a butler service to be able to make purchases on behalf of residents in the state.

If you're a Minnesota resident looking to buy online rather than trucking down to the store, visit Lottery Post's Minnesota Lottery Results page and click on a purchase button right next to the game you're looking to buy.

The only game currently not offered online is Daily 3, so I'm checking to see if that game will be added at a later date.

Are there any states that allow pick 3 to be played online? I have seen 5 number state games and the big multi state lotteries played online with limitations.

No way would I do that. Don't know about the MN lottery but in WI all winnings under $600 are tax free. Say I run a ticket 10 times and hit 5/6. I take those tickets to numerous stores and collect 10 tickets worth $500 each. If this was online the state would know I won 5 grand. My guess is they would tax you on that. Could be wrong but I doubt it.

You can play pick 3 and daily 4 on line using third party app (Jackpocket, it is official) in Texas.

Oh wow, they hooked up with TheLotter! That's cool !!

This really makes the site even more legit for anyone who has ever doubted it.

It's good they have the bigger games online and the pick 3 and pick 4 offline to go to the store,

that way retailers don't lose a lot of money.

(as cold as Minnesota gets you can stay warm inside and play).

Well, obviously, that depends.

How much does it cost for you personally to get to the store vs how much the buttler charges for going to the store for you.

Life is too short for crappy lottery games, only play the good ones.

Hopefully we are getting closer to domestic lottery purchases from one state to another

The KY Lottery offers Online wagering for all their drawn games, but I wouldn't get any pick-3 straight combination multiple times because I'm not sure if the lottery would deduct state or Federal taxes on the total winnings. And even if they don't deduct taxes, they still have a record of the winnings the IRS might be interested in.

Haven't won any Online wagers requiring a W-2G, but I'll still have to pay taxes on those bets regardless if I buy the tickets in a store or Online.

Pick 3 and 4 most likely will never be offered online.

The infrastructure for the terminals was a huge investment.

I dont know how the "laws" are set up for the retailer to get a "cut" of the "action".

It would be "easy" to "allow" pick 3 and 4 online also.

I would "like' to pick 3 online, because the "bunny path" is snowed over again.

Whoever is writing these laws are probably high.

Take for example the TEXAS 5-35.

You can play online. If you go to the results page for TEXAS

You can see there is a link "button".

Now to purchase these tickets you must be "Located" in the state of texas.

However there is ONE other state that is allowed to "purchase" lottery tickets using that butler service.

How they came up with the choice of that ONE other state is beyond my pay grade at this time. Obviously the state are vying over the cash available. And my state is not part of the "deal". Otherwise I would play that game as it is "easy".

But when gas goes to TEN dollars a gallon with Joe Joe Magoo in office, {People are predicting by summer} you are going to want to have the luxury of saving that gas money, because you aint gonna have any money left over to buy those pick 3 lottery tickets at the store with the imposter in chief running things.

And the fee is reasonable, i think it was 25 cent per ticket.

Now Why? would somebody in Texas want to pay the extra 25 cent per ticket at this time is an individual dilemma.

It would be curious to know what "laws" are in place so that a 5.52 million lotto jacpot is not absconded by the company.

Now luckily in these days corruption is just a "consipracy theory" and we are all "following the science" to save us from the dreaded carbon dioxide molecule.

In the end it will be a "legal battle" and may the best "Lawfare" win!!
