Nice Setup Cmoore50.
As I Understand that Book (Still have not read it), a Round is the Number of Balls divided by the Number of Balls Selected. That would give you 69/5 = 13.8 Draws.
If You used 14 Draws your counts would be about half and the Code Numbers (Hit Counts in the Round) could be confined to 0,1,2,3. With 3 representing 3 or more hits in the Round.
I have a Fantasy 5 (5/39) Setup Based on 8 Game Counts. My Unread understanding of Igor's Method is that he includes the Current Draw in the Hit Counts. What that Means is that the Count for a Number that hits will be either 1,2 or 3 and the Codes Range from 11111 to 33333 with digits restricted to 1,2 or 3. Selection is accomplished by having a Parallel Numbers File that counts the Hits from the Previous 7 Draws and adds 1 giving you the code for a Number IF it hits in the Next Draw. Selection is done by Code Values for each position. One of the Thing I use is a Code Number that in this Game is a 3 Digit Number made by counting the 1,2,3 in the Code itself. It Gives you a way of Selecting a Group of Codes all with the same counts but in different positions. It is a good System, but It is still difficult to Get the Right Code and that is for a 5/39 Game.
Jumping to your Game, I don't suggest a different Round (14). In fact I like your 30 Game Counts. I would use Igor's Counting method (which includes the Current Draw). That way you can limit the code Values from 1 to 5 and get a 5 Digit Code from 11111 to 55555 with no digits over 5. Code Numbers would also be 5 Digits counting 1,2,3,4,5 in order. As with Fantasy 5 or any game, You need a Numbers Chart that Counts the Hits from the Previous (Round -1) Games. Adding 1 to those Counts gives you the Code Value for the Number IF it hits. This lets you Get the Numbers Options for each position from the 5 Digit Code or a Larger Group using the 5 Digit Code Number. Getting the Right Code gives you a list of numbers in each position to "Wheel" and results in a sizable set of Combinations that can be further reduced by applying different parameters like O/E, HML etc
You have all of the Data. You don't have to change a thing. The important thing is that you understand your Data. I only suggest that your counts include the Active Game because 0 is Eliminated as a Selecting Option.
Now it is Time to Set up a Training Sheet wherein you can apply some When/Then options and let the Big Dog Hunt. This is where the Rubber meet thin Air on the Random Road. Your Dog will need a Hover Board to move along the this road, unless you can figure out a way to get some traction from Thin Air. In the end you will find yourself standing on the Cliff, holding a bag of Options that you hope have produced a Winner.
Now Comes the Tail Chasing.
Good Training
