Excel is popular (but old). Python or R, used by data scientist would be better. I am learning Python and just built my first web scrapper.

As mentioned above, Excel and Python is all your need. That combination is unbeatable IMHO for the lottery.

Yes, no, and maybe. You can use VBA to call Python code from Excel. And you can execute VBA code through Python. But you'd need (at least) smattering of knowledge of both to do either.

So Excel is good. Excel with Python is better (or at least Python is better supported). But all in all, Excel with VBA is probably the quickest, easiest solution.

In reality it doesn't matter what language you use. Its all about what's right for you. Plenty of videos and web pages to help with that decision. Just search "Using Python in Excel."

ok, garyo, goal is to use excel-compatible programming for pattern crossing
lottery, like the Cartesian plan, of the positions
repeated or not! inside an array, I don't know why the Cartezian plane is not used as a filter
in the lotteries? crossing statistics can give us a better start (start) of the bet
in the lottery, and filter positions

Reason lot of avaiable APIs

I like python and excel too.

Nobody can answer those questions for you. YOU have to do your own research and decide.

ok garyo, is that I have to do the right thing, programming is just a way,
but you have to have a lot of lottery adaptation
because there is no specific lottery schedule

Dude, it doesn't matter what programming languages or utilities you use to analyze lottery results. Agonizing over which language to learn is just procrastination. The important thing is to park you butt in front of a monitor and start teaching yourself something so that you can work out your various ideas by yourself.

hello cotone, i need to create a filter system in the cartezian plane example =
when a game is divided into 5 rows and 5 columns
from 01 to 25 (my lottery) drawn 15 numbers
01 02 03 04 05
06 07 08 09 10
11 12 13 14 15
16 17 18 19 20
21 22 23 24 25
ex = 1st line I will use 02 03 04 05,
in the other rows and columns i can't use this
sequence, how to filter?
