Here is a (highly experimental) new workup that I'm working on. The idea is to find the most correlated 31 days of numbers from the past compared to the most-recent 31 days of numbers. I've done the markup with highlighting to help you see what's what. The bright highlighting indicates a straight hit and the faint highlighting indicates a boxed hit.

I tried this in New York yesterday and it turned up a boxed hit, not the number I thought it would be, but it did find one. Just for fun, since I'm already up to my eyeballs in the Ohio data, I thought I would post it up and see what happens.
