About 20 minutes ago, the Arkansas Lottery announced that it is immediately closing its claim center at 124 W. Capital Avenue in Little Rock due to a possible exposure to COVID-19.
“Out of an abundance of caution, we are temporarily closing the Claim Center so it can be disinfected,” Director Eric Hagler said. “We apologize for any inconvenience this closure may cause, but the health and well-being of our employees and players is of utmost importance. We hope to re-open as soon as possible."
This marks the second time this year that a potential exposure has shuttered the claim center.
As this is a temporary closure, players who want to file a claim for a prize greater than $500 must mail in their winning ticket for the time being. Claimants must sign the back of their ticket, fill out a claim form found on the official Arkansas Lottery website, and make a copy of their valid photo ID. These contents should be mailed to Arkansas Scholarship Lottery, P.O. Box 3838, Little Rock, AR 72203.
Prizes valued at $500 or less can be claimed at official lottery retailers.
