  Some of you might be wondering 'how many entries should you submit  to be a Prize winner ?'

  Next page is a chart from Fl Lottery showing number of entries and Prize won for the 2nd drawing.. 

  The JACKPOT winner submitted 2,429 entries. The highest number of entries (145,581) won $1,000.

  The smallest number of entries (76) won $500. The TOTAL number of entries submitted was  70,356,237.

  I can't remember how many entries I had in the last drawing- depends how many "extra" entries I got.  I had a lot more in the first drawing for sure.  Haven't bought many for this next drawing, but I'm doing well with "trash-can" ticket entries!

  Oh duh!  I finally logged into my FL Lottery acct, and I see I had 149 entries in the first drawing, and 746 in the second.  So I've made a liar out of myself ! 

  Some of those people are buying crazy amounts of scratch-offs.  Maybe they have a youtube channel?  Or found some trashcans ripe for the picking?

  There does not appear to be any particular correlation between entries and prizes.  Some people won with a relatively minor number of entries, including the jackpot winner.  The person who went dumpster diving for tickets (145,000 entries!) only won $1,000.  It looks like just plain luck.

  Interesting...if I get bored maybe over the weekend I'll take a look at figuring the average number of entries per winner, either way the range seems to be a pretty large from few entries to many.
