  Well, big numbers are bigger than small numbers. I don't know of any law. Why discriminate small numbers? Kill the Pygmies?

  Agree with Raven. The Law of Large Numbers says the more data points you use the more accurate your median will be. 
  Agree with Stack. You're not going to ever have enough data points waiting for draws unless you plan on living 288,000 years. (And even if we did, the lottery changing the game every 2, 3 years will thwart that plan) So.....
  
  Plan B: Write an RNG and run 100,000 to 1,000,000 draws and determine a more accurate median. 
  Plan C: Find the median using the entire matrix (might be a bit more accurate). 
  Plan D: Live 288,000 years to get enough data points.

  The mean/median/average/whatever you call it looks like this......

  I'd say its pretty close.
