Speler, what happened here was I tried to find trial versions. That's what took me to Softonics. The program was Lotto Pro. I don't think there is anything wrong with the program (other than it being older).

What happens is when you download, the site sets your notifications to Allow. The reason I think it is the site is Softonics popped up in my Permissions list when I'd never been there before.

To stop that mess you have to go to Settings, then open Cookies and Site Permissions.

There you'll see a list of sites you've visited and permissions each has. Click on the site (or the > sign to the right) and it will open a menu of 20 things you can block or allow from the site. I blocked everything, camera, microphone, javascript, ads, notifications, automatic downloads.....block it all!

Got rid of the Norton pop-ups (so far).

Hint: Don't turn JavaScript OFF! That will affect other sites (and LP).

I had win hunter in the past on a computer that broke. It worked, could do combinations, but I wasn't pattern minded or had seen any demo. I now found something to watch on youtube. Somebody uses VB and Notepad++ there. Something with dll. Curious if I could do something with dll of a program in Excel. ... I haven't looked at the settings for a long time, so that is due. I think that you could switch off js and css in the past. Computerusers today think movies, music playlists, video chats and so on. Others are gamers, many gave that up, as costs were high and they needed thicker glasses. ... Always wondered about those dll's, creation to usage. I once tried something and the os got rid of that. The knowhow isn't given, and what you were looking for, you didn't find etc.

More of a nuance to point 1 but how about 'have a budget and plan per draw and stick with it'?

My personal plan is as follows: in the U.K I have access to the regular Lotto game as well as Euromillions. Both have promotional draws 3-4x a year. As an example, the Euromillions lottery is only slightly worse in odds than your multistate games, so usually i AVOID it at all costs. HOWEVER!! the promotional draws that take place 3-4x a year add in between 10-25x U.K Raffle winners of £1,000,000 (approx $1,300,000. That cuts the odds of a win of £1m from the typical 8-10m to 1 in a regular draw (where one raffle winner of £1m is always selected) to under 1m and that's for 1 ticket (and even factors in the increase in players on promotional draws). Huge improvement, and in this game, I'll take what i can get. So my personal plan is budget for those drawings 3-4x a year, when the odds improve, and put more tickets on those when my chances are highest.

Lotto also has 'rolldown' draws where, if the Jackpot isn't won for 4-5 draws in a row, it 'rolls down' in a 'must be won' draw. I have taken advantage by wheeling many of these in the past and always managed to return at least 50-60% of the stake as a result. In essence, halving the price of a ticket at worst. in fact, I got super lucky on the Christmas day draw and broke even. So my plan is just stick to a budget for those occasions and execute - take the emotion out of it and therefore help with point number 7 about becoming discouraged! Once the money is spent, anything in return in a bonus.

Yeah, you can choose what to block and what to allow for each site. In this case, I didn't want to mess with anything it might send.
If there had been a way to STOP ALL, I would have checked that. As it is, those guys at Microsoft love to play around with their microscopes and check boxes so we can decide each micro choice.

Automatic downloads would be something better blocked by default (in my mind). As well as notifications, and pop-ups and redirects.

You can write VB code in any text editor as far as I know. There are some videos where you load a function of a dll in Excel using VBA. If you figure it out, let me know.

For PB/MM/LA-------Stay with 1 QP & 1 set of chosen. Perhaps choose the Mega/Red ball with the QP option for the 5 numbers ,should that gut feeling arise.

PB/MM------ start playing when the jackpots are at $150M cash.

Say a little prayer for a fellow LP family member to win a 7+ figure jackpot win.

Other than that ??? Stay positive and remain consistent.

I once did a dll, activated the library in the VBE, later what I did disappeared. I had other bad surprises in the past, like a disappearing file. Maybe a virus, like you couldn't send a copy, or something. If you sent it, it also disappeared from your OS!? For Windows, I changed some settings, the next day received updates and settings couldn't be changed back as there were no buttons or checkboxes for that anymore. Because of my low bloodpressure I didn't punch my fist through the screen.

So, tonight, last drawing of the year, I'm waiting for my millions. Did I win them? ...

Won 1 number + bonus for $7.

Shopping I saw the women who won the toilet tissue war last year. I was putting my four pack of tissue on the counter when one said to the other, "You know last week when I was organizing the hall closet I realized we still have 96 packages of toilet tissue."

And they laughed and woman #2 replied, "Jay would have them organized by color, brand, and package size!"

And they laughed again. Then woman #1, "Not me! I'm organizing them by cost so we use the cheap stuff first."

And they laughed.

I didn't want to hurt the feeling by saying, "This makes 289 for me!" so I paused and said to everyone and no one, "Happy New Year!" and walked away. 96 packages of toilet tissue is a lot of butt wiping! Maybe these women will take their kids and husbands to wrap houses as a New Year's celebration?

I have tomorrow off. Time to binge on popcorn and chocolate chip cookies while I start writing through another crazy idea. Don't you wish you could visualize what you want and the program would write itself? Microsoft should work on that idea. Or maybe combining voice recognition software with programming so we could just talk to the computer and it would do all the work.

My past few months resolution is keeping playing only 4 lines in my Jackpot games so I can stick with the budget and break time to time the Lottery Commission voila !

I resolve to
1. Play more this year. Although I spend many hours on my Worksheets, I rarely play. I bought less than 50 Tickets in 2021 100% of were Quick Picks..
2. Focus again on the 5 Number Jackpot Draw. That will include Ca. Fantasy 5 and Super Lotto Plus. Additionally, I will track Ohio Rolling Cash 5 and Let a Few Friends there in on what I find.
3. I like the “Leverage” on Jack Pot from these games but the Drops (Small Prizes) are a Joke. That is the nature of the Game so no use complaining.
4. I have My Own “Software” to Learn to use. The Problem is that I am always changing it. I have Selected the Data that I Track. I have Set the Format for Said Data. I have narrowed down my Filter List to Odd-Even, Fifths, Balance, Position Scores and Repeats. These are tracked by Position and By the Draw Series and related counts. My “Software” is designed to produce the combinations that match the Filters that I chose to activate and the Values I select for those filters. The “Software” is really just a Tool. I do not let it pick anything by itself. I am developing a set of “Alerts” when certain Events for the Nex Draw are at what might be called a “Critical Value.
5. The Tool is actually a Wheel or it contains a Wheeling Process. It Fills a Position Box with Numbers and then produces Every Valid Combination Possible and separates them by Series or Positional Values. The Box can be filled by activating Filter Values by Position or take any set of Numbers from any source. When an “Outside Source” is used those numbers are set numerically, The Set is divided by 5 and an Overlap value of 0,1 or 2 distributes the numbers to the positions in the Box.
6. Given that I follow Nick Offerman’s Social Distancing regime (“I have been social distancing since I was 4 years old”), I have an abundance of quiet time. I already avoid negative people except (See 10 Below).
7. Given that I have not lost money, yet, I am not discouraged. I will admit to being frustrated when My Selections don’t pay (I “Play every draw” on the Tool), I am still searching for a Set of Values to focus on. Yesterday, for example, I Set a Fixed Series of Position Scores and applied it to each of the 3 Games. Ohio hit 2 Jackpots in the Last 20 Draws while California Fantasy 5 had none. Super Lotto had 1 5 Ball hit but, that was because I used the Last set of Position Scores Drawn and then applied them to the other games. As you can tell, I am still doodling with the Tool, but I Resolve to Focus.
8. There is so much involved with this one. Your brain clogs up when you worry too much. I am Vaccinated (2 Moderna shots) but not boosted. I am optimistic that the “Omnicron” as Uncle Joe calls it will overtake and crowd out the Delta and that when I get the "Covid", it will be the New Omicron Cold. Oh, I do not do well in lines. When more than 3 people are ahead of me and I get impatient. When the undecided takes to long, I usually leave and forget it or go somewhere else. Yea I know, takes longer to go somewhere else, but at least I am moving.
9. I’ll build my house when I win. Other than that, I have no plan other than to stash the money somewhere that is as safe as possible. I have friends that are professional Money guys that I would enlist to find where to stash it. I will also donate at least 10% of what I get.
10. This one is related to Lottery Post. As far as the Lottery goes, this is the only “community” that I am part of. LP has been the element that has brought me to where I am Today. In 6.7 years, I have absorbed much here. Now as relates to Resolution 6, LP is the home of some very Toxic individuals. The $oap Opera is a vexation to the Spirit. I resolve to watch less of it. I resolve not to interact with the Toxic. It is not only a giant waste of time, but it suppresses creative thought.
Now, I will miss John Madden. Time to follow Al Davis and “Just Win Baby”

One of my Resolution is to be more kinder. To be more peaceful. To accept those I disagree with, even though the may be COMMUNISTS praying for my demise.

To not argue with morons on LP like GARYZERO...who talks much but walks little.

But To to offer them a POWER NUMBER in their game, that can make the whole world gain the CAPITAL of their smart luck, and to refute to those who believe that Lottery ticket buyers during a SCAMDEMIC are grandma killing MATH deniers.

That is RESOLUTION number 1.
