I have been hard at work building and testing changes to the Lottery Results Seach Engine and VTracs Search Engine and I think regular users of those tools will be happy with the changes.

I try to do most updates in the early morning, when there are fewer people on the site to experience a disruption, so hopefully the update will happen before 7:00 am Eastern Time. (Shooting for closer to 6:00 am, we'll see...)

Both search engines will receive the following updates:
- A button is now included on the search results page to copy a link for instantly re-running the same search in the future, without needing to manually enter all the search parameters. So if you select certain states/games/draw times, enter the numbers to search for, and select custom search options and date range, now you can copy a link so that when you go to that link, the exact same options will be used and you will go straight to the results page. This has been requested numerous times in the past few weeks.
- When you run a search and then go back to change the states/games/draw times selected, it will now keep all the numbers and options you entered rather than forcing you to re-enter them. The only time it will clear out the numbers now is by going all the way back to the first selection of game type. (Or by clicking the Clear button.)
In this update there will also be the usual assortment of minor fixes that have been reported. Fortunately these minor fixes are starting to slow down as they get cleaned up, so things are starting to stabilize pretty nicely.

Even still, please be vigilant about letting me know if you stumble across something not working correctly. Maybe it's a link not going to the right page, or a button that doesn't do what it's supposed to, or a misspelling, or something behaves differently than expected. Nothing is too minor to report, we strive for perfection.

After the update goes live in the morning, I'll update this thread.

Pick 3 Search Engine contains 3 boxes for 3 digits. When we enter a digit in a first box, cursor automatically jumps to 2 nd box , after we enter digit in a second box, the cursor automatically jumps to 3 rd box, and so on goes down to lower boxes, I am happy with that.

But, sometimes, I don't know how, but I end up typing on the same box which has already a digit in it. And to my surprise I can enter two extra digits in the same box. That means one box can hold up to 3 digits.

Can we not program such a way, no matter what, one box can have hold only one digit space, unless you delete it or clear it to enter another digit.

If you type the number too fast that would happen.

Hey Todd, I love the improvement to the website and I appreciate the great work that you've put in.

One thing I observed is that on the profile page, the Bio and Signature section no longer have an edit button with the new version.

I can certainly look into adding additional edit links on the profile page.

In the meantime, the edit your signature, on a computer it's in the Options menu:

On a phone tap the Options menu at the top, and then it's right there:

I did some tweaks on the keypress code this morning, see if it works better for you now.

It's extremely tricky to code because web browsers are pretty bad at handling and controlling keypresses within input boxes. Making matters worse, different brands of web browsers handle things slightly differently, so it can be nearly impossible to get perfect.
