  Im watching The Talk on tv right now and theyre going to talk about someone that won the Mega Millions jackpot back in July.

   

  Thing is, I dont think its anyone's business to know who won it.  One o the reasons why is because there are shady people who would kidnap a lottey winner or whatever.

   

  Its one of those things Im cautious about if and when i ever win a Powerball or Mega Millions.  I wouldnt go on live tv or show my face everywhere on the news since there are people who think its cool to kidnap or blackmail people that win the Powerball or Mega Millions

  Some states do not allow you to remain anonymous...like California.  It's my understanding you must allow the lottery to take a picture of you holding the check and your name is available to the public.

  The Illinois Lottery allows winners of over $250,000 to claim anonymously. Regardless there will always be someone saying "they cheated".

  "When will we ever learn?"
