  Jackie Robinson, Hall of Famer and Brooklyn's one of a kind New York champion who had broken Major League Baseball's  modern-era color barrier in Brooklyn 1947 died  in Standford  before his time, at only 53:-(

  Fats Domino the R&R pioneer singer and songwriter included "Bluebrery Hill" amd "Ain'T That A Shame" died in Louisiana at the age of 89 :-(

  Major civil rights luminary Rosa Parks died in Detroit, Michigan at  the age of 92 years

  Rosa Louise McCauley Parks (February 4, 1913 - October 24, 2005) was an American activist in the civil rights movement best known for her pivotal role in the Montgomery bus boycott. The United States Congress has honored her as "the first lady of civil rights" and "the mother of the freedom movement".
