  There's a video about this on the Lottery Post YouTube channel explaining this. I'm not sure I'd want to live in a place that crowded, but that's just me.

  I see a similar phenomenon in my own state when I look at lottery winners. The Louisiana Lottery has an interactive map that shows where winning tickets have been sold. Of course, most of the winners are sold in the New Orleans, Shreveport, Baton Rouge, and Lafayette areas, since those are the biggest cities in my state that's where the most tickets are sold.

  It's a numbers game and regardless of where you live, your chances of winning are pretty much the same.
