The Great thinker Yogi Berra’s is well known for what he describes with his 50th best known statement.

50. A lot of guys go, ‘Hey, Yog, say a Yogi-ism.’ I tell ’em, ‘I don’t know any.’ They want me to make one up. I don’t make ’em up. I don’t even know when I say it. They’re the truth. And it is the truth. I don’t know.

Below are a few that I think apply to the Lottery.

2. You can observe a lot by just watching.

There is a lot in this one. I just took a look at the Abbreviated Wheels here on LP and Observed a Lot. Any other examples?

17. The future ain’t what it used to be.

Maybe the most profound statement ever made. Especially when applied to the Lottery.

22. Pair up in threes.

Sounds like a Pick 3 Strategy

24. You’ve got to be very careful if you don’t know where you are going, because you might not get there.

Rabbit Holes

25. All pitchers are liars or crybabies.

Sounds like the Bull Pen here on LP.

28. He hits from both sides of the plate. He’s amphibious

Not sure this applies to the Lottery but, it’s how things are.

31. I don’t know (if they were men or women fans running naked across the field). They had bags over their heads.

That’s what some of Biden’s Nominees told Congress.

How do they apply to the lottery, other than the lottery is absurd as Yogi-isms are? I don't know.

Here's another one.

When you come to a fork in the road, take it.

Lottery meaning. Are you gonna play it or not?

List Pick 3 singles by low sums, high sums. Separate each sum row by consecutive pair and non consecutive pair combos. These 3 pair groups. 14 17 47, 25 28 58, 36 39 69 are in 63 combos. 54 combos do not have them. Which sums do the 3 pair groups appear and not appear? Look at root sum groups 147, 258, 369. Play accordingly.

Those who run the lotteries love it when players look for consistency in something that's designed not to have any. So many systems, so many theories, so few jackpot winners.

There is one and only one 'proven' system, and that is to book the action. No matter the game, let the players pick their own losers.

35. I never blame myself when I’m not hitting. I just blame the bat and if it keeps up, I change bats. After all, if I know it isn’t my fault that I’m not hitting, how can I get mad at myself?
