Any lottery is a business and many players most of us myself included would love to understand the concept of how the first number(the lowest on the left will be) In my books a good predictor is measured by how he can correctly read the first digit. If your first digit is out your chances on the jackpot is GONE....no surprise there.
Is there a formula ? No you have no code than calculate the next draws first digit theres is though patterns that can assist with it its extremely complicated and about 15 checks must be preformed.....In my 30+ years playing the lottery Im still searching -I will never give up until I master that concept . Only die hard lottery fans will fully understand this as it will control how effective lottery player you will be and it will affect your bank account the reason I say so is the following
A) If you can read the first digit you have a better chance X10 000 fold better chance to hit prizes on tickets, The first digit is the key to winning jackpots and lower tier prizes. Your first skip pattern can be read you will be well on your way to reaping some prizes. Would be good to hear some feedback from fellow lottery players .How regularly do you predict your lotteries first digit?
Good luck to all -and remember there is no such thing as impossible

in your 30+ years of playing you should have realized it's all random. the players who take the biggest hit to the bank account are the ones who convince themselves there's a pattern. don't forget to eat your vegetables.

And that is not necessarily because those players buy more tickets than the casual player, though it's certainly possible some individuals do, it's because against all reason they buy software and systems that sell the delusion that actionable, non-random patterns exist that will yield future advantage. Same thing exists in the financial markets. The way to get rich is not to take big risks your own money, rather to convince others you have the secrets for them to get rich. Plenty of takers.

I tend to differ with you there you work with patterns your last draw give you a trace and its up to the player to diciper that draw. Its not as easy and it will cost you hours of testing back testing, failures try again. Your first digit skip pattern put you in jackpot mode and its a very powerfull but to get there is not an easy feat. You must lose your dumb luck mentality and throwing random numbers... You will be waisting your time your money in the process.

First of all we talking here and not selling anything. There is no fool proof system out there and its up to the player to tilt the scales in his favor. With that comes hours and hours of testing back testing and lots of failures. A good analytical system beats the pen and paper dumb luck method time after again. There is no fool proof system out there and anyone claiming it is lying. Like the saying goes proof is in the pudding. Like everything in life its gonna cost you hard work dedication and a will to succeed to tip the enormous odds into your favor
brock lee's second digit system is on sale now for the low low price of $9.99. don't get suckered by all the corny first digit systems. all the best degenerate gamblers know the real key is the second digit! what are you waiting for? take your wife's grandma's tea set to the pawn shop today!

Ricklou's books are irrelevant because Ricklou doesnt pay out prizes. The state lottery pays out prizes. In the state lottery's book, a good predictor is someone who hits every single number, not just the first.
Mathematically, the first number is no more or less important than the others, and this is the mathematics forum. When you make dumb non-mathematical posts, expect to get joke responses.

As far as I know every person is entitled to their own opinion. That was my opinion and your welcome to differ from me. You clearly does not understand and I not gonna waste my time and energy on people who want to troll and attack peoples opinion. If you dont like any persons opinion move past and move along -Simple as that
The first digit is key -It will show you what sequence on the first digit have a high probability to follow example skip 3 7 10
Prediction 3 9 18
Your first digit is the most difficult to predict and the most difficult too -You will one day grasp it
This post is to discuss the first digit if you wanna come and post snotty remarks like users above -Im not gonna respond to idiotic trolls looking for attention. We can all agree to disagree and you can differ in a polite way -Dont come and troll here move along if you can't contribute something constructive towards the topic

Please explain what this contest means. You're picking a single white ball from 1 to 69, correct? (That presumably corresponds to the Powerball lotto.)
Then, your pick is compared to actual (5) lotto winning number results. Correct?
Do you "win" if your pick is any of the 5 actual drawn numbers or only the first one?
You were a "12-time winner" in 2022, and you are an "8-time winner" this year so far, is that correct? How many draws is that in both cases?
Let's get the parameters down and see how the actual statistics line up versus the theoretical probabilities. I'm skeptical, but let's see what the data indicates. No mysticism, no emotion, just probabilities and grounded mathematics.

I get what you are saying. One thing I have noticed is that looking at a non replacement draw history tends to show a higher count for the extreme limits of the game. For instance, the most popular numbers in the PA match 6 in the first digit lists 1 as the most frequently drawn, nearly double all of the other first ball digits, the same is true of 49 as the last digit.
I recently put together a spreadsheet for the current matrix of the MM and PB, I will see if the same holds true.
