  one time i played the lottery with a key number. it was the number stamped on my house key. showed the ticket to all my friends. turns out that's the number the locksmith uses to duplicate a key. now my stereo is gone and my new bag of funyuns is half eaten. 0/10 do not recommend.

  Based on the Number of Tickets that you specified (30), The following Wheels tell you how many numbers you can select to guarantee a 3 Hit for both Pick 5 and Pick 6 Draws.  You might have to go Platinum to get access.

  Speaking of getting carded. The young checkout girl at the store I work at carded me some time ago when I was buying beer. I was amazed, since I have gray hair, along with a gray beard and numerous wrinkles. LOL. I said "really"? But produced my DL and all was good. (She's not there anymore).

  I wasn't mad about it, just amazed. When I asked the operations mgr about it, she said the girl just came out of training.

  Some wheel statistics for you to ponder regarding these lotteries.

  SA Daily 5/36

  If you want to retain the 90% win certainty your wheel 3,3,30 needs 391 tickets. Big ouch!
  The distribution of numbers in the wheel (this is important) is (lowest to highest): 63/70. Not the best but still acceptable.
  If you want to retain your 30 tickets in the wheel then you need to accept the certainty drop to 7.39%.
  The distribution of numbers in this wheel is perfect 10 for each.

  For the 90% certainty the number of tickets is 135. Smaller ouch!

  To sum up: having the wheel of 3,3,30,30 with 90% certainty is a mathematical impossibility in neither lottery. You have to either significantly  increase the number of tickets or drop your certainty by a big margin. I guess a disappointing choice but that's reality.
