Blind statisticians are an uncommon species in my neck of the woods. We had one of who did some calculation and told everybody if they put Mexican jumping beans in pancake batter the pancakes would flip themselves over.

He was brutally battered for that nonsense.

If you see the 1-69 Powerball white balls or 1-70 Megamillions balls as 69/70 unmarked balls, still the balls themselves would follow the same pick patterns by statistics and probabilities. e.g., the ball shown as 1 will still be having a expected average of 1/69 or 1/70 or for that instance all 69/70 balls.

The ball marked as 1 even if it is not marked(hidden or masked with a white tape) as 1 will show similar pattern in the game.

Many can't accept the fact that odds are way high and end up thinking lotteries are fixed. I see that they spend hours into analysis. But random shows patterns but We cant nail all patterns at once. This is why many methods or tools get so close but can't be one universal solution.

In my view fixed or not also can't be proven because a ball can stay out longer than usual or get picked more than usual even in a genuine game. To show a lottery is fixed it has to be way skewed beyond the expected deviations.

Do test draws affect outcome? Yes.

Were you able to get the 5/5 correctly with/without test draws? most likely same case as without it.

If you don't believe me, take any random data set generated by true random generators and use it as a seed or directly turn that to random game output. Compare it to actual powerball or Megamillions data.

As in the case of Eddie Tipton He knew the RNG could be messed up with. He did it and got caught after years... many who played Hotlotto with methods were indeed betrayed by the system. States or lottery companies could give the ticket money back but it's huge time waste for system/method players.

As far as the mechanical balls, an auditing firm is auditing the overall process and several people are involved in this whole process.

But, to me I don't see them sorting with mainframes. : to be frank today you don't need mainframes to take up huge loads => 4x 2k$ desktops can slice through in minutes if the software coding and hardware is given to correct company. It's just that too many states and POS are present. Plus some states allow online ticket purchases. Overall when there is huge JP, these states possibly messup sending final data. Plus the actual sales numbers have to be put up correctly to arrive at the exact prize amount.

So mechanical or RNG possibility of screwing up is there and can't be ruled out. When such huge money is involved anything is possible.

Citizen watch style lottery groups or organizations can group together and ask state or lottery firms to allow certain lottery players to sign an NDA and be part of the actual drawing besides the auditing firm.
