I've stopped playing Mega Millions completely.

The automagic multiplier does not impress.

The odds are a mess.

I'll play the others for less.

That type of game should be $1/line so you can decide how many chances you would like to buy to beat the astronomical odds.

$5 for one line with a multiplier I don't want? No thank you!

I agree.

Essentially, they have diluted the player's buying power in much the same way a stock share can be diluted by a reverse split.

I liked being able to decide if I wanted to play the multiplier when I felt (educated guessed) when it was appropriate to do so.

I agree, bought tickets twice and as usual there was not even one correct number. I will never buy Mega again. The price is ridiculous for the odds or any lottery for that matter. I feel that they will fail with this approach and hope they do!

If it wasn't impossible I wouldn't even consider it! As the Lottery Guru Gail Howard used to say, "What happens most is what is most likely to happen".

What we find interesting is the Jackpot is only increasing at $10 Million each draw.

In past, it would be more than that and getting bigger increases as the Jackpot grew.

We're not seeing that.

In My Opinion, this might not reflect the actual increases that are needed to support the Jackpot annuity, meaning, the actual cash value to support such a Jackpot might not be entirely all there... just saying that is.

I have yet to play the $5 MM. I can't run with the big dogs, so I have been on the porch for the last 20+ years failing to figure out the pick 3 for anything better than a coincidental hit months apart... maybe if the jackpot hits dream level, but not planning to try it anytime soon.

I very well may be completely wrong. But it looks like powerball only jumped 10 mill last draw. Are they trying to cap it so it doesn't supass mega millions?

I play the same numbers every draw. Only reason I'm still playing is because I have been playing the same numbers for around 20 years. I buy zero extra tickets now. But I'm about done with them. 5 bucks a line is to much. And I don't really see much of a increase in prizes to justify the price increase. The first time i played my numbers i got a 3x . Every time after its been 2x. So i imagine there all for the most part are gonna be 2x. They should have left it alone at a dollar. And mabye added a multiplier for a dollar if people wanted that option. Greed took over though I guess. 🤷 Might start looking for a bookie soon. If I did win through them atleast it would be tax free. 😜

its not whether its a mess. Its whether anyone can see the sequence pattern of it. same for powerball, same for the state games. stick with state games.

I can't say I agree with that statement or disagree with it. Car companies always make money. It depends on how every industry is.
