That logic is backward. The whole idea behind the QP option is to make players dependent on the system as to not figure out patterns and consistency in patterns. If I own the Lottery, I'd definitely encourage players to use the QP option because I control it thus more revenue for me.

the hole in your argument is that quick picks are not forced on customers, they are only an option. you can still pick your own numbers.

this is my best guess, but i think the lottery offers players the option of quick picks to make it easy on retailers. if lottery players had to choose their numbers themselves, there would be a lot of players wasting time at the counter hemming and hawing over what numbers to pick, and that would waste retailers' time and make lines longer at the counter. qp's are not a nefarious lottery conspiracy, they make the process of playing the lottery more efficient.

Too many articles that list the 70/30 on behalf of the QP

70% winners of jackpots are quick pick numbers. 30% are chosen numbers.

Buy 2 tickets. 1 with a QP and 1 chosen. See how that works out

Just last week, I got behind a lady in line for lottery and out of nowhere, she just started hemming. I told her nice work on the cuffs there, ma'am, but couldn't you do that somewhere else? Oh the look she gave me!

A hole in my argument? 🤓 Encouraging players to use the QP option and "forcing" players is two different things. I said to encourage....not force. And I've never seen players figure out numbers at the counter of a Retailer. Usually they come in with their numbers, ready. My responses though is to Coin Toss' statement about Lottery officials loving players looking for consistency in numbers and believe the games are not designed to have any. If he/she was my twin, I'd show him/her what real consistency look like in my system. It's definitely consistent sets of patterns played over and over, and not random at all. Every number played is in harmony with the last numbers played like...its sequenced and keep repeating. Every number belong to fixed numerical set...or what Lottery Post members call "mirror numbers."

Those stats support the point I was making to Brock Lee that if I own the Lottery, I'd encourage players to play the QP option than creating their own numbers because it's a greater cash flow, and you get to control the players better than players in the 30% bracket that creates their own numbers.

i have never seen lottery advertisements encouraging players to use quick picks over their own numbers.

Never said they did but the fact they give you that option speaks for itself as it's working wonders as far as revenue.

If your system is so great, why haven't you won every drawing and put the lottery out of business?

I don't know about my system being "great." But it does produce 2 to 3 numbers right on a regular basic, and I'm constantly improving it. Based on the consistency of getting to 2 to 3 numbers right make me an Expert in what Im telling you guys: there are consistency, and Lottery Officials would HATE a guy like me sharing this info with you guys. 🤓

Yeah, The Righteous Brothers were legends but the Temptations had that 5 part harmony!
