Happy Friday LP Family - And oh the energy that looms is massive. And subtle. And in your face. Buckle up!
You may have heard there's a New Moon about to hatch 17th to 18th and it's about to get real. Right now, the Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus, and Mars are all kicking back with the Goat - literally, all in Capricorn. Did you feel the Earth move a little? Don't be surprised when, not if, it does, literally or figuratively. There's enough energy above to move what is below. As we move closer to the New Moon, we are still under the incredibly tangible influence of all things Capricorn. Starting late on the 16th and wholly immersing on the 17th to the 18th, there are some great things happening - including Venus moving to airy Aquarius among others.
Normally I'd say that all this like minded energy will cancel itself out when it comes to the numbers. However, that's not the vibe I've got right now (subject to change because, well, it's me talking here). Right now, there is tremendous 6 and 8 energy that just continues to show.
Virtually every birthday will feel the spectacular realm of astrological stuff about to happen in increments over the next 72 hours. This New Moon is about setting a foundation and making the coming months of 2026 our best. It also portends that February will really be something special. As a side note for all East Coasters especially - don't let that nagging headachy tachy-beat jitteriness sidetrack you. That's just the barometric pressure trickster. If, like me, you live on a Peninsula or with great water surround sound (Bay, Ocean, Lake, or otherwise), it's really a roller coaster. Know it for what it is - a migraine-exacting pain in the pattootie. This too shall pass. Do not let it distract you from the big picture.
While I acknowledge the storm most of us are in is really ugly, I see a bright beyond. I also rarely get this excited about building energy, but I'm going with it. If, like me, you've felt things at a standstill or as if something were about to happen, you are not alone. I spoke of the Earth moving - be as extra-prepared as you can because great change takes great effort and events. As a disclaimer, some of the events may require a seatbelt. Just saying.
Old school Capricorn holds great sway over the number 8, but also has an affinity for 10. My personal play will build here around 6's (also heavily favored planetarily). Will this focused build up of energy cancel out the obvious numbers? It happens - think about that particular Full Moon or holiday where trips were absolutely indicated and then just foundered. Oh no, I said the T word. Of course they may show to welcome this beautiful newbie, but I like trips in the P4 and double-doubles more.
I've been rattled lately, I freely admit. The conclusion I've come to is that while yesterday may be regret and tomorrow anxiety, the only fix, the only prevention, and the only reality is that today is how to stop the train. I'm determined to work with what I've got, no matter how much or how little. Today.
