Happy Sunday almost 6 a.m. LP Family - I knew it was coming, the FM onslaught of activity and, only the 1st, and not disappointing. Here's my lucid dreaming event - this is what a true message dream looks like to me when I'm not quite ready to hear it, literally. (when I'm ready to 'hear' it, I will understand exactly what is being said to me with great clarity}
I am outside with various people (men) I should recognize but don't. Getting ready to leave and I notice a guy pull up with a beautiful arrangement of flowers and I'm awestruck because the colors, to me, look like orange creamsicle and I say to another guy who is urging me not to leave yet how beautiful they are. I notice the person with the flowers seems to be dividing them up, as if to share, and I think that some of those flowers are for me. At the moment I believe the guy with the flowers is about to walk to me with my flowers, a person is trying to tell me something and I can't hear. What I hear clearly is "wait, wait". As I struggle to hear, I'm being urged to 'watch' what unfolds. I'm told this is what 'they' did and I immediately recognize 'they' as actual people I believed to have it 'made', smart people who did the right things, people I potentially admired. I begin to watch and there is a small package, contents taken out and a guy walks some distance from me, turns around and takes out something I can't see. He 'aims' his hands at a small target paper on a tree and I watch the target hit with a small but extremely fast moving projectile. This was a precise exact target center hit.
The 'object' aimed is a large slingshot. I voice that I cannot believe 'they' blew it. That they had everything and decided to use this item, a very scary slingshot, to fool and potentially hurt others. The take was that this was like a gag gift gone very wrong. I tell the guy that I'm familiar with slingshots, that my mom was an expert user, and how they could be used on animals, and I named raccoons, foxes, and opossum. (As I'm saying this in the dream, I'm actually backtracking in my head because everything I said is true except using them on animals).
A few mixed messages, some obvious, some not. That 'wait, wait' was absolutely an attempt to get through but I just could not 'hear' at least this time. Can't wait to sleep again. I'd like my flowers, please!
