Hey Teetee - I just saw your post this morning 4/4. A family member is brain injured - very intelligent but there are very basic things he does not grasp. Yesterday, we were in a parking lot and there was a noisy crow above. Crows always bother him because of their chatter. I asked him if he remembered what I told him a group of crows was called. He did not but said that this was the Raven's bird. We have never talked about ravens vs crows before so, once I untwisted my brain, I realized he thought that the Baltimore Ravens symbol was a crow because he did not know there was a difference.
Hint - I'm aware but not a big football fan at the moment.
Plot twist - I have a favorite shirt that I wear and I was aware it was a sports brand symbol very stylized, but I just like the shirt. So, I'm out in public and there's a big game apparently that day. Standing at a gas pump, a guy admired my shirt and being the sports fan I am, I was like oh yeah, go Eagles! The guy looks at me funny and said very kindly - you do know that's a Ravens shirt your wearing?
Turns out my guy knew my shirt was Raven wear, but never told me because he knows how much I love eagles and thought I'd be upset.
It seems my life is a cycle of potential ironies with wings. Thank you for your timely post - no coincidences kinda thing.
