Happy Saturday LP Family! Hey A, you know Georgia is always on my mind! Anyway, using playslips and getting my numbers yesterday, in my fav space, and here's what happened - I walked up and looked at the very high counter top only to find a $50 and at least $20's. Just sitting there. Absolutely no one else around, waiting on the boss to do the numbers. So, I figured someone was nearby and I just stepped back. No one showed up. Finally the boss stepped up and I said it's not my turn and I pointed. He looked down and said expletive deleted. I scooped it and handed it to him, and he thought he knew the customer that forgot it. Now, this is a liquor store and there are about 40 cameras, so finding out who left it should be easy.
At that point, he ran my playslips, processed my payment and I left. I get home and take a look and, in the midst of my numbers are these - 3505 4322 0311 - all for daytime, all straight. I looked at my playslips - no quickpicks marked and no day only numbers (all day and nite since antiquated DE does not allow a single marking for both). I did pay the $1.50 for these 3 too. (yes, I know, watch your math!)
Not my first time finding money (crazy stories there), but the whole picture was a little odd.
