Happy Wednesday LP Family! I was at a hotel, apparently ready to leave, walking, reminded I needed the room key. Looked in my purse and there it was - the key recognizable by the green plastic holder it was attached to (clearly, this was before key cards, fobs, codes, etc., i.e., dinosaur age).
Monday was the RED cardinal.
Tuesday was the GREEN key holder.
This is not a coincidence. My primary color vision deficit is red and green. So how do I know the key was green? The colors that make green are yellow and blue, and my brain enhances those colors. I have learned to understand the 'color' I'm seeing by the colors that make it. I said "I have learned" when, in fact, my brain has made the adaptation all by itself. That said, you still do not want me choosing your house paint or socks, for that matter.
However, I am always searching for the "key," because I believe every answer we seek has a path that requires a key to transition. I do not, however, dream of literal keys as a rule.
Can't wait to see what tonight brings. I hope your day is gloriously filled with color. The spectrum has room for all our visions to fulfill all our wishes. J
