This is one way to split all lottery numbers into groups.
The lottery in question is 649.
This is also a complete play system which includes wheels.
Calculations in use are basic number frequencies over a period of time.
The period of time suggested is 50 draws but others may be used.
Split all numbers into 4 groups of 24 numbers each based on their CURRENT frequency:
1) Hot (24 numbers with highest frequency)
2) Cold (24 numbers with lowest frequency)
3) Transition to hot (16 hot numbers, 8 cold numbers)
4) Transition to cold (16 cold numbers, 8 hot numbers)
This composition of transitionals is not compulsory, the proportion of cold/hot can be changed at your discretion.
These groups have to be updated after every draw. This can easily be done in a spreadsheet.
The reason for such a setup is as follows:
- hot and cold are opposite to each other
- transitionals are opposite to each other as well
This way it is much easier to establish what is trending and which way (up, down, flat).
With every draw measure the hit rate for each group. Keep record of these results.
They will tell you what is trending and in what direction.
Hot and cold are mutually exclusive so when one goes up the opposite will trend down.
Transitionals are introduced here to pick up transitions from cold to hot and other way around.
These transitions may be gradual or abrupt. They are the warning signs that things are changing.
Note:
Using number statistics always runs into this problem: the statistical transitions are never smooth but always come in steps.
In 649 these steps are 7 numbers because that's how many are drawn at a time.
That's why trends may change abruptly and that's why there is need for transitionals.
For simplicity I made the groups the same size.
This makes using wheels easier.
24 numbers require 4 tickets (24 / 6 = 4).
Below is a basic wheel from which you can easily create a number of others.
1,5,9,13,17,21
2,6,10,14,18,22
3,7,11,15,19,23
4,8,12,16,20,24
You create new wheels by switching numbers between lines:
1,6,9,13,17,21 switched 5to 6
2,5,10,14,18,22 switched 6 to 5
3,7,11,15,19,24 switched 23 to 24
4,8,12,16,20,23 switched 24 to 23
And do on...
You can make as many switches as you want.
You can do it manually, as in this example, or automate the process through software.
With every switch you create a new wheel.
All these wheels will have the same winning potential.
They are also the most cost efficient.
As the icing on the cake you can also implement testing pairs of group/wheel for winners.
This will help you to see which pair, at any given time, generates the best returns for your buck.
You can also devise strategies how to play: 1 or more groups, same or different wheels, you name it.
This is a simple but a complete play system.
Can be implemented for any other lottery, with modifications specific to that lottery.
You can call it split and win methodology.
Good luck.
