In The Circuit Court Third Judicial Circuit Of Illinois Madison County
On March22,2000 the Settling Plantiffs filed a complaint against the Defendant and others(57 companies,organizations,people in total)in which it was alleged that:
(a)the Defendant operated buisnesses,including the Lottery Companies and the Puzzle Companies,which engaged in practices contrary to the Illinois Consumer Fraud and Deceptive Buisness Practices Act;
(b)the defendant operated buisnesses,including the Lottery Companies and puzzle Companies, which made certain representations that were false and untrue in in relation to the nature of the Lottery Products and the Puzzle Products;
(c)the defendant plead guilty to one count of criminal conspiracy to transport lottery paraphenelia in interstate commerce in respect of the buisness of ht Lottery Companies contttrary to S.1852USC 18 and that as a consequence thereof the Defendant is obligated as a matter of common law to make restitution to any purchaser of a Lottery Product or Puzzle Product equal to the amount of such products purchased by that person net of winnings paid to the purchaser;
(d)the Defendant and others carried out acts which were in furtheerance of a fraud upon the purchaser of Lottery Products and Puzzle Products.....and it goes on and on.....The case is to be adjudicated in June of 2002
