  Sounds like a silly question, but I see pick3/4 players asking that question all the time, so I decided to ask and see if I get any answers. Does anyone have a history of numbers that indicates that certain numbers are more likely to follow particular numbers? To be useful the list should contain no more than ten numbers. 10 numbers can be wheeled into 53 combinations of five with a guarantee of a match 4 if 4 of the winnig numbers are among the 10 numbers.

  There is some software you can use to create a list of due numbers, but getting it down to just 10 could be tough. I picked a root set for Indiana Lucky 5 using this method yesterday and ended up with 13 numbers.
  
  Here's how it works:
  1. If you don't already have it, download a free copy of Lotto Cheatah from the website link below.
  2. Click on the "prove it to me" link at the website to see how the PowerPicker, a hidden function, works.
  3. Install and select "Powerball" from the Lottery menu. Click the update lottery button to get the most current database.
  4. Set your depth at 50 and your # of picks at 10.
  5. Engage the PowerPicker and write down those numbers that keep repeating, pick after pick. It will become obvious after a few combo's flash past.
  
  Sounds like a lot, but the entire exercise (minus download time) only takes a couple of minutes, if that.

  I was checking the last 491 records(balls changed 11/05/97)in my Powerball file to see if I could find what follows that number, but that combination had never been pick before and three of those number occured together only once, so I checked when any of those numbers appeared in a pair or alone and came up with 11-08-25-36-47 and 49-04-36-45-03. I'll be watching the next drawing results to see if those numbers mean anything.

  That's very interesting. I'm curious to see what happens in the next drawing too.
