By the Numbersby Dave Hale Gathering data...BORING! Tracking the history...BORING! Eliminating numbers...BORING! Figuring out what to do with the numbers your left with...BORING! Picking numbers sometimes certainly can be a boring task. I would say for a majority of players that pick their own numbers would prefer to do so with out all the boring data gathering and such! So, I thought I would present to you an easy non-time consuming way of play for the pick3 game. Having tested this with past drawings I was surprised just how often it did hit. Some hit the next drawing and others hit down the road abit. Now I'm not saying that you will win consistently with this system but you might win more often then what you are at the moment. It's a fairly easy system and maybe some of you out there have tried it before or use a system similar to this. This is how it works. You only need the last drawing from your State and know how to count. For example, lets say that the last drawing were the numbers 9,3,2 . You will count three up from 9, two up from 3, and 1 up from 2. It would look like this. 9 count 3 (9..0,1,2)=2 3 count 2 (3..4,5)=5 2 count 1 (2..3)=3So you would end up with the numbers 253. But it doesn't end there. Now you will do the same with the numbers 253. 2 count 3 (2..3,4,5)=5 5 count 2 (5..6,7)=7 3 count 1 (3..4)=4So far it would look like this.Last numbers drawn: 932New numbers 253 574You will repeat until you have a total of 9 new numbers. Here is what you would end up with after you are done counting up from each set of new numbers. Last drawing numbers: 932New numbers 253 574 895 116 437 758 079 390 611Now, if you are playing these numbers boxed then you can eliminate any duplicates, like in this example you have a duplicate of 116 and 611, in eliminating the duplicates of course you save a buck or two. The one choice you will have to make is to decide between playing the new set of numbers till one hits or make a new set after each draw. When I tested this out I would play the same set until I hit or 9 draws, which ever came 1st. Try experimenting on past draws and let me know how it worked for you or any improvements, ideas you might have as well. Happy playing. Dave Hale http://3toowin.mybravenet.com
