Hey, B.U.G., how ya doin'?
I always try to look for those Triples Troopers when they're pumping gas at the different stores, or ask Wahid, the store owner, if the triples people have started up again. I really don't understand why they haven't attacked the beaches yet on midday. To my mind, they should have been circling around by now. Triples hit on average 3.65 times a year on evening, and 3.13 times a year on midday. We've only had two midday doubles this year, and it's been 232 days (May 3rd, WOW!) since we've had triples (999). If I were a Triples Trooper, I'd be getting kind of antsy right about now.
Since I like to 'catch' these numbers doing weird or consistent things, I'd consider the fact that of the last seven triples in GA, all have come on odd days of the month. Since odd/even days is basically a 50/50 proposition, my guess is the next triples will come on an even date. At least that would save me money half the time! lol. But if were a TT, I'd dig in somewhere around here on midday, and be prepared to stay until the end of January. The most attention I could muster toward it would be to cover everthing $.50 each...five bucks a day. lol.
I'm probably not going to do it, though, because we had four midday triples in '99, five in '00, seven last year, and only two so far this year...but that makes 18 over four years for a 4.5 average. That average has put me off, and maybe it's holding the triples people off, too. Right now I'm focused on all odd/all even on midday...now there's a good bet.

p.s. There's never been a666 on midday GA.
