PA's new governor took office Tuesday. He wants the PA Lottery to become more profitable. AFAIK there probably will be midday drawings beginning next month, and Keno is being given serious consideration. IMHO however, replacing the controversial Super-6 game should be the PA Lottery's next step. While there seems to be much sentiment to try a WINFALL-type game in the Keystone State, there is an alternative which probably would be more economical: Bring the MUSL "Hot Lotto" game to PA. The six-state game will be adding the DC Lottery in August, so it isn't about to go away. In the meantime, PA can test single-state games (like a WINFALL clone) for the longer term.

CASH: That'd be great if all of the above happened.

smd: Maybe, but less-savvy lottery players probably don't want many changes at the same time.

Mr Whittaker would make a great spokesperson for HOT LOTTO-except he waits for Powerball to be 10x its minimum before he plays.

It's ashame it is growing so slowly. Powerball being hit, certainly won't help Hot Lotto.

With DC joining in August, Hot Lotto DOES have a future. More (small) states are expected to join Powerball, including two that already have lotteries.

It's now been almost NINE MONTHS since PA joined Powerball-still no concrete plans to dump Super-6. Lots of things can happen in nine months :)

As long as I can get to Connecticut twice a week. I will try to drive to PA after they get rid of Super-6.
