In the past I have picked numbers within the parameter of previous hits (sums, range, gaps and etc.). When I compared my Buckeye5 (a 5/37 lottery = 435,897 possible combinations) file or 2251 records which expands almost 10 yrs., 5 combinations of 5's had hitted twice and many combinations of 4's had repeated my times. With 2251 drawings, only 5% of the possible combintions had a chance to be drawn and 5 combinations has appeared twice. I concluded that these combinations had a combination preferance factor (CPF) and if I could define and use it to pick my combinations, I would win more often. On the lottery cards a similar figure is refer to as the overall odds of winning a prize, but I noticed while most combinations preform at that level, most winning numbers actually preform at a higher level (winning numbers preform better than losing numbers).
When comparing my Ohio649P file, I noticed that the winning numbers have matched three with the basic 6 numbers 4-7 times and matched three with all seven numbers ( basic 6 + bonus ) 9 or more times. Last night I used a CPF to pick my combinations of fives for my MM picks and had some success (the overall odds of a prize is 1:43, I had 2:20). Maybe it was just luck, but I plan to use a CPF in addition to my regular parameters to my pick my numbers for Ohio649P tonight and hopefully do better than a free ticket.
This may sound silly to some, but no more silly than buying someone else's system or software and have it pick your numbers for you and not understanding or controlling its logic. For all you know, the system may just use a random pattern or the software just use a RNG (random number generator) to pick your numbers.
Good luck to everyone
