  Number Matrix-

  An arrangement of rows and columns consisting of individual digits.  The number of columns represent digit positions for the particular game.  Each row contains the probable digits by column.

  Eg; 4-Digit (60/40 Matrix)

  0  2  3  1

  1  3  5  2

  3  4  6  4

  4  6  7  5

  6  8  8  6

  9  9  9  8

  C1xC2xC3xC4 = 1296 Numbers

  I (also) consider "matrix" as the number of balls picked from a larger set of numbers, such as:

  Michigan WINFALL: 6/49

  Mega Millions: 5/52 + 1/52 ("double matrix")

  Michigan KENO: 10/22/80 (player picks 10 of 80; middle figure is numbers drawn by the lottery)

  For brevity of definition, I didn't include all the possible number matrices.  That is because each game has a different Matrix.

  A single Pick-3 or Pick-4 number would be considered a 10/90 Matrix.  While a single Winfall 6/49 number, because of the odd number of possible digits, would probably work out to a (I'm Guesstimating) 9.5/90.5 Matrix.

  Hello George

  We need to get this New Forum moving along a little more quickly. This is what I meant when indicating we needed to simply "Stipulate" on many of these definitions.  Matrix is a common mathematical term .....not a new word, phrase or concept. This should be a no-brainer. No one can, or should vote on already-established, widely-accepted terminology. 

  Here's a suggestion:  put together a glossary of commonly-accepted, mathematical terminology that no reasonable person would have trouble accepting, and submit it to Todd for his stamp of approval and add to the forum.  (This way he can add them all at one time.) Established math terms common to lottery. Whatayathink?
