  It's been a long time since Ohio649P lottery has been up to $23M. I've been checking the parameters of past winners and now I ready to pick my numbers for tonight's drawing.  The first is 08-11-18-32-33-43. Now I have to pick at least eight more combinations so I will have all 49 numbers in the mix. The worst I can do in match one six times.

  Nobody won tonight, so Wednesday's jackpot will be $25M and I'll get to try again.

  Ohio lottery is taking a survey and may change the lottery in the future to fewer numbers (6/46) and a format similar to Winfall.  Ohioplayers enter your opinions in the survey.

  Whatever Ohio does with (Super)Lotto, IMO they should drop the "Kicker".

  Even though I don't live near Ohio, I took the survey.

  I'm in favor of either proposal to add the multiplier; I often utilize the PowerPlay option for Powerball. PowerPlay ADDS to the Powerball game because if you win a non-jackpot prize, it's multiplied; whereas "Kicker" has nothing to do with Ohio Lotto.

  If Ohio wants to change its Lotto to be like "Winfall", fine; but eliminate the "Kicker".

  If you don't live near Ohio, don't play the Ohio lotteries, don't like them and don't plan to ever play them, why would you care about their format?  I don't play lotteries on the east coast and don't waste any time getting upsetted about their rules.

  I hope Ohio listens to people who actually play their lotteries because over ten years ago, they listened to groups of none players who thought  that more than $20M was too much for one winner and  limited the amount that one winning ticket was worthed regardless of the advertised jackpot and the lottery losted steam and never regained it even though the limit was dropped a year later.  With the odds of winning $5 being 1:57 and the odds of winning $50 being 1:1032, I can't see why anyone would prefer to pay an extra dollar for the multipler over the kicker.  I wouldn't paid any extra dollar for either.  If they go to a format similar to winfall and start with a smaller jackpot, many players will save up and play when the lower prize are increased.  I'm sure Ohio is watching Michigan to see if their changes improved their bottom line before making any changes.

  If Ohio were to improve its Lotto, it might force PA to come up with a better game than Super-6, which in turn might force NY (my home) to pay better in its 6/59 game. State lotteries DO get ideas from across the country.

  Many Powerball players, including myself, like the PowerPlay option. Furthermore, the PowerPlay is TIED to Powerball because the PowerPlay is a multiplier of a non-jackpot prize. "Kicker", on the other hand, has NOTHING to do with Ohio 6/49, even though you can play "Kicker" only through Ohio 6/49.

  At least Ohio is acknowledging that "Kicker" is not very popular.
