  If Texas wanted to make Lotto TX harder to hit the jackpot, they should have gone to the 6/59 (it would make a VERY interesting comparison with NY, even though NY 6/59 is two plays/$1.) if they didn't want to offer a "power ball"-only prize.

  Powerball has more states because most of them have much lower populations than the MM states.
