  Michigan Winfall began in January with millions of dollars left over from the final draw of the previous game. The first few drawings therefore saw lower tier winners receiving the unpaid prize money, since nobody won the (capped) $5 million jackpot in those draws. Since then, it's taken a month or more for the jackpot to reach the maximum.

  There has been only ONE jackpot winner in the four-plus months of Winfall; despite the length of the annuity, and the right to choose after winning, the player chose the 30 annual payments.

  All Michigan Lottery Million type games have very few top prizes....probably since Mega Millions and the Big Game came along.  A lot of people play that instead I guess.  Even though I wish Michigan was a Powerball state.  I don't care what anyone says...Powerball is better....better odds...for better prizes....PowerPlay....Jackpot grows a lot faster...but oh well maybe this is the Mega Millions jackpot run that will reach above $160,000,000.  We will just have to wait and see.
