I get the feeling most Texans don't buy out-of-state tickets very often.

    Cash Only:

You are right, we don't buy out of state tickets very often unless we live on the NM border and the Powerball is over $100 million.  That is a lot of miles to drive to throw your money away.

I don't know much about the west side, but there are Thousands of Texans crossing the Sabine river weekly, going to Louisana to gamble. And I mean Thousands. Seems at least half of the license plates (at the casinos) say "Texas".

Whether or not they buy tickets is unknown to me. I would expect those that have money left, would buy some. I have.

          Old Hank:

What do you think about the controversy over the entire Texas Lotto Commission issue?  Their mandate will sunset on Monday if something isn't done and that could open the door for some reform.  Lord knows they won't stop the games.  There is too much money involved and they are addicted to the added revenue.
