So violent? Did you not win lately? Cheese and Crackers....
The question is interesting, maybe you should repost it alos in the Jackpot Forum, in PICK 3 only PICK 3 lotteries are discussed.
I assume you are looking for all different triple combinations (18424) from 1,2,3 to 47,48,49?
I so I could send you a spreadsheet that calcutes those to inocrporate in your own spreadsheets. Of course once it is calculated it would be much faster to just copy the values in rather than the formulas. Now this is programmed in Excel, using Excel only and not any VB subroutines or such. Many Excel users do not have that installed anyhow and/or did not enable Macros for security reasons.
If you like to have the entire list email me at firstname.lastname@example.org with your email address and I can send it to you. No problem. No charge :)
Frequency of repetitive triple combinations...so you want to see how often the same triple combinations appear. Now you can certainly track that, by I am almost certain that you will not find very much new out of it.
Using the hypergeometrical distribution the chances for repeating 3 numbers in a 6/49 game are about 1 in 56 cases, the same as the chances to hit three correct numbers. Or in percent in 0.01765 of the cases.
I will add the forumala to the spreadsheet for you to look at.
I hope this will help you.
