I want to play Mega Millions and Powerball. I've never bought a ticket online. I live in Fl. What's your take and/or experiences on buying tickets online?

You'll have a terrific experience playing MM or PB at the links on the left side of the page - you can even request ViewTix service to see & print a copy of the tickets.

But if you won a major jackpot, what are your assurances of actually getting the money from an online lottery retailer?

Okay, now I believe you can predict lottery numbers

"Doubting Thomas".  It's the same thing as saying "if I order a product over the Internet, what's the assurance that I'll actually get it?"  Thomas, in case you didn't know, there have been big winners over the Internet that are quite happy now.

That's the beauty of shopping online for a US state lottery (as opposed to some "online casino" in a carribean nation).  If you won, don't you think the state would honor your claims?  Haven't we seen enough court cases involving jackpots to know that fairness would prevail, even under unusual circumstances?  I know for a fact that someone won a major Florida jackpot online, and then legally collected the prize.

Thomas, you need to get with the times.

Thank for answering, Todd. I have another question, to your knowledge, have any winners filed complaints(problems receiving their winnings) against the company who provides the service?

To my knowledge there are no complaints at all - simply because when you win, you automatically and immediately get the prize credited to your online account, where you can either apply it towards a future purchase or withdraw it.

            Good luck!
