I'm really enjoying this site...everyone has soooo much knowledge about number selections that it truly amazes me.  I do have a question, and I hope I can get some really great advice.  I play pick three on a daily basis midday and evening (SOUTH CAROLINA), and I can't seem to find a suggestion or method for narrowing my number selections.  I look at all these differnt sites, none as good as this one, and people reccommend different numbers all the time and I truly get overwhelmed.  I was wondering if there is any system number selection strategies that one can suggest.  I keep track of all numbers (2002 through current numbers), I document sums totals, root totals, and so forth, but I don't know how to narrow down my numbers to even 10 selections or what direction to even head in when choosing the numbers for that day.  I really enjoy playing, however I'm ready for that awesome feeling that one receives when he hits the lucky number.  How can I head in the right direction when selecting numbers without relying on smart picks all the time.  I looked at the V-trac System, and I really can't get a understanding of how it works.  I'm desperate for any suggestions, recommendations, secrets, and the list can go on and on.  I just want to learn how to come up with the winning number. I'm definately wanting ANY SUGGESTIONS for Pick 4 as well, because I REALLY don''t know what direction to go with that game.  I'm open to ALL suggestions.  Thanks in advance.  Again, thank you for the warm welcome that I received so far.  You  all seem ike my extended family.

            Hi Winner2be,
You have aked about one of the most difficult questions to be answered.
Many of us can get the numbers down to just a few which are all good playable numbers if they hit. It is only a matter of when.
You have been doing your work on the game so you know which method have shown the best results for you. You have your list and want to narrow it down to a few. I will post some suggestions to see if they work for you.

            let the number find you
When you are creating or looking over your list and a number stands out from the rest write it down as a play number. Do not analyze it or try to outhink the game. Just put it down to be played.

            Specialization
WIN D and others have posted topics on playing different categories of numbers. All even, all odds, consecutives, doubles and other groups. Select a group you desire and research the numbers in that group or groups if you choose more than one.  narrow the list down to a few. Play them daily or on the days you feel they are ready to hit.

I will get bsome data together on groups and post them tomorrow..

Thanks for the advice John- I just never know what direction to go in when narrowing number selections down and I hear of all these programs one can purchase, however I don't know which one is worth the money.  I will appreciate any and all the help you can give John.

                S.C. category data
                551 draws to date
doubles drawn 152 times avg 3 to 4 draws
Consecutives drawn 31 times avg 18 draws
all even drawn 59 times avg 10 draws
all odd drawn 70 times avg 8 draws

                in the drawn number
                1 even 2 odd drawn 215 times avg 2 1/2 days
2 even 1 odd drawn 207 times      same
working the even or odd pairs you only have fifteen pairs to track in each category. Then to figure your third digit to go with that pair.

If you wish to balance the even and odd pair selections track the 25 even & odd pairs
