    fja, you're right on.  Also, MM grows a ton faster when jackpots get > $100 million - that's when they can leverage the huge populations of the states.

      Too bad they hardly ever get over $100 Mil anymore. With the hit last night in GA it goes back down to $10 Mil.

        Also, a prime reason for why PB grows faster is that while MM has a membership of primarily larger states, there are more PB states and their combined populations currently outstrip MM's populations (not counting our new brother TX). Plus, a 30 year annuity doesn't hurt either (the power of compound interest...gotta love it).
